Here are some valuable advise for a long term healthy installation.
1. Installation information
After the installation has been done, tested and validated with active license and maintenance, capture and keep by the side these important information; they will be needed in the future for any Server Name Change, Server Migration, Upgrade or Maintenance renewal:
- Server Name
- Server ID
- Current License
- Maintenance expiration date
- License Key
2. Backup
Perform an initial backup and have a proper schedule for this important routine.
If you changed the 'admin' password, have it stored in a secure place, or check this procedure when you want to Reset "Admin" password to default
3. Maintenance renewal
Make note of the Maintenance expires date, and provision a maintenance renewal accordingly to ensure you can always contact our Customer Support Center or email with your question to: support@everyoneprint.com
4. Be up-to-date
Check the Admin console regularly, or register for our newsletter to be informed about new software release.
When a new release is available, you can provision for an upgrade: not only you'll benefit from bug fixes and enhancements, but you'll also make it easier for us to support you in the event you encounter any difficulty with the application.
5. Database clean-up
If you're running a very active site with 1000's of users printing lot of jobs, you may need to clean-up the database print job history at interval; See section "18.7 Selectively delete all users, print job history, emails and printers" of the Install Guide
