Context:

RDP - Windows Terminal Services or Citrix environment

Issue:

Is there any problem in using HCP for printing solution using RDP- connection…If it is possible, is there something that needs to be taken into account?

Resolution:

HCP PC client can be used with remote desktop sessions (RDP or terminal services) but there are some limitations:

1. Printers are shared across all users of the remote RDP server and are not deleted when PC client synchronizes them
2. User principal names are not supported, only session user name or custom login.
3. PC client popup notifications are not shown (e.g. errors), this will be fixed in the future version.
